Established in 2003, Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Kolkata offers tertiary care and is a 700-bedded multispecialty facility. A joint venture of Apollo Group of Hospitals of India and Parkway Health of Singapore, this establishment combines technological prowess, infrastructure, efficient care and hospitality with ease. It is the only hospital in Eastern India that has been recognised by the Joint Commission International (JCI). It is also the only recipient of the NABL certification in categories such as Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Pathology, among others.

It has launched Indiaβs first Cellvizio System and has conducted the first ever Reverse Shoulder Prosthesis Replacement in East India.
A critical neurosurgery, the first of its kind in the entire country, was successfully performed in this hospital on a child born with the rare and almost unheard of condition known as Encephalomeningocele. This hospital is the first in Eastern India that has organised a live workshop on CARTO or Electrophysiology Mapping Technique. The first ever cadaver transplant in Eastern India was performed in the Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals.
